Terms of Use

Kolukkumalai Jeep Safari Ride Sharing ("the Platform", "we", "us") is operated as a venture of Solsphere Global Technologies LLP. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

We provide a coordination tool that connects travellers who wish to share jeep seats on the Suryanelli–Kolukkumalai route. We do not own, lease, operate, or dispatch any vehicles, and we are not a transport operator, travel agency, or tour company.

All ride arrangements — including the vehicle, driver, route, and timing — are made independently by the person who posts the ride ("Poster"). We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the conduct of any Poster, driver, or vehicle.

Joining a ride requires payment of a ₹40 per-seat booking fee through the Platform via UPI. This fee compensates the Platform for facilitating the connection and is non-refundable once paid, regardless of whether the ride is later cancelled by the Poster, the joiner, or due to weather, forest department restrictions, or any other reason.

The ride fare (the seat cost itself, separate from the booking fee) is agreed upon and settled directly between the Poster and the joiner, typically in cash or UPI at the Suryanelli assembly point. The Platform is not a party to this transaction and does not collect, hold, or guarantee this payment.

Both Posters and joiners may cancel a booking through the Platform. Cancelling does not entitle you to a refund of the booking fee already paid. We notify the other party when a cancellation occurs, but we are not responsible for any inconvenience, loss, or additional cost arising from a cancellation.

You agree to provide accurate information, treat other users respectfully, and use the Platform only for genuine ride-sharing purposes. The Kolukkumalai route involves off-road terrain, steep drops, and physically demanding conditions. You participate at your own risk and are responsible for assessing your own fitness for the journey.

We do not perform background checks on Posters, drivers, or vehicles. Exercise the same caution you would when arranging transport with any stranger.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform, its operators, and Solsphere Global Technologies LLP shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or dispute arising from a ride arranged through the Platform, including but not limited to vehicle accidents, driver conduct, weather conditions, or forest department closures.

We may suspend or terminate any account that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, abusively, or in violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from use of the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu, India.
